I have been a writer and/or copyeditor for more than a decade, but my current passion is finding vintage toy vehicles -- especially Tonka toys.
My favorite find so far is a 1970s Tonka front-end loader. It was not in perfect condition, but it was a very unique little toy.
I also enjoy browsing local auctions, flea markets and thrift stores just to see (and sometimes buy) what others have thrown away.
